Hello all,

Well, I've finally made it home! I cannot express the gratitude that I have. The prayers are much appreciated. To all of you I pose a question: what is it like to know that God has used you? What is it like to know that the one true God, creator of all that is, has chosen you to use for his purposes? So many people have worked so hard just so that my transition to living at home would be easier for me and my family. The renovations to the house are fantastic! Thanks to Jon Oberdick for coordinating the efforts. Jon provided me a list of people that he knew worked on The Project. Here it is:

Doug May Jeff Campbell Nicole Campbell Jim Maurer Tim Garcia Tadd Garcia
Steve Depkon Mick McCartney Rhonda McCartney Julie Oberdick Paul Hepak David Bachman
Shawn and Sharon Welsh Ted Lutz (Union Presbyterian) Mike Andrasko Wayne Shaffer (Union Presbyterian) Loraine Shaffer (Union Presbyterian) John Trinkala (Union Presbyterian)
Jackie Pfaub (Union Presbyterian) Mike and Tricia Krut Jim McCarty Curtis Dietrick Mark Rodu Bob Carroll

I'm sure there are more folks, and to all of them, I'm grateful. These folks did so much, what with all the construction and even moving things into the shed (You see? I built that shed for a reason!) There were so many folks that have been working so diligently in helping my wife and the rest of my family. These folks have been buying groceries, cleaning my house, watching my kids, etc. There are yet others, that have been coming together and thinking of ways to help me and my family physically, financially, educationally, emotionally, spiritually, and prayerfully.

The body of Christ of which I'm a member, Riverdale Presbyterian Church, has been the core, the hub, the stake in the ground, the base floor built on the Solid Rock on which my family may be able to build a new life. We don't know what this new life holds in store for us, we hope only to be faithful to God because He has always been, and will always be, faithful to us.

Without Him we are hopeless.

So, where do we go from here? He is truly honored by the cohesive group that has been formed around this incident. What should all of you do now; you crafty weekend warriors and prayer warriors, shoppers and babysitters, helpers and e-mailers, card writers and cooks, makers of banners and fundraising planners? What of all of you? Certainly, my story is still being written. My family is still in need. But what of your families? What of the families of your neighbors? Cannot God also work through us in service to these others? Of course He can. Sign me up! Let's hang together, shall we?

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Greg
